Durable Designs was founded on Lee Austin’s signature stonework. His local and family business has been blessed to expand and develop into a powerful design and management team. Lee Austin is a gifted designer and master stone mason with more than 40 years of experience. In Lee’s early days, he learned the value of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction by working alongside his father, who has been in the business for more than 50 years.
A prudent decision-maker, Lee selects only the highest quality materials and employees while maintaining his client’s budget.
Lee has a personal and professional commitment to the community. For years he has served as a board member for the Landscape Designers Association. Throughout the region, Lee Austin is known for his exceptional work ethic and commitment to both clients and employees. With 40+ years of project management, Lee moves seamlessly from vision to implementation to job completion – on time and on budget.
Lee wanted Durable Designs to have a family focus so he partnered with his wife Paula Austin in 2007. With 20 years of experience in property management and real estate, Paula is the perfect complement to Lee’s artistry and workmanship. But don’t let Paula’s business acumen disguise her own creative force that continually blows clients and the rest of the team away.
She can take one look at your house and design the renovations that will turn it into the home of your family’s dreams. Paula has more integrity, diligence, and energy than we have ever seen, and we all feel truly blessed to work for/with her. Lee and Paula are the original powerhouses of Durable Designs, and they have set the tone to deliver nothing but superior service to our clients every step of the way.
We have also licensed home builders and as such, we can refer you to pool contractors, electrical contractors, or plumbers if needed at no charge to our clients.
